A complete revamp of over 250+ technical icons for Buro Happold’s assets library. The goal was to catalogue, redesign and then compile all existing icons for use by other teams within the company. Standardisation was an important element as the main problem we wanted to solve was the inconstant and sometimes inaccessible use of icons.

Guide

In addition to the icons, I also designed a guide for creating them to establish some of the rules on their design and use. This aided the standardisation as when multiple designers worked on different icons, there could be deviations on style. As the icons were being designed, the guide was updated to reflect feedback and suggestions from the team.
